Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

Mother

Mother.
Tree of my life.
Amniotic sea of conception.
Absolute zero.
Meteor
from a wall-less hall of infinity.
Guardian of my blood.
Interior of my continent.
Now I am born.
Now I have become,
populated with life.
Following the way of steps.

I return,
to where you look
toward the end of forever,
and feel your destiny in me.
Your arms encircling my light.
Step by step I have moved beyond.
Step by step I return to you,
a journey profoundly new and old.
Inseparable.
Burden and blessing.
Star, by which
I find myself at night.
