Celebration

Celebration
Of blue rocks,
salamanders.
The way the sky becomes yellow
at dusk.
Laughter filling absolute space.
The sound of the first voices
I ever heard.
Stories over tea,
and my father’s eyes looking into mine.
The incredible knowledge of childhood,
and falling,
crazy in love,
again and again.
