Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

Too Beautiful Not To Be

The world is so beautiful,
it came from nothing
to exist.
A toy store of puzzles
for precocious children.
Content to be
a blade of grass,
a sunrise,
a man in love,

The world making itself.
Jam on bread,
Michael smiling.
Coming from the emptiness
of a huge love,
a cosmos,
lifting its head from the pillow
and wondering,
if I wake
will the darkness go away?
And it did,
it has!
