Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

Debts

Debts I owe,
love overdue,
tons and tons of light
to restore a star.
The hearing of my ears
and heart,
to write the music
of my poetry.
A list of debts
exceeding
everything
that comes my way,
which I have used,
savored,
consumed,
until I dare not
ask for more.
But return an infinite
gratitude,
to a world
which never ceases to provide,
sometimes unrequited,
to a thoughtless child.
