Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

A Magnificent Day

the sun opened like a tangerine.
The sky was a pure open piece of satin.
The air was the touch of a sail
going to the edge of the horizon,
and I thought,
what a magnificent day!
Clear and cool.
How many days
open like an invitation to a shore,
to a tree,
that holds a room with walls of shade,
to well being in the heart.
Full of child’s content.
It was such a day,
that at its end
put a kiss on my face
as if saying,
what a wonderful time I had!
