\nAre they chaos?
\nHappenstance?
\nDo they matter because they are beautiful

Of all the books I have seen,
\nwhy do they say nothing of these
\nin their pages?
\nTaking apart the wing of a fly,
\nwhat could I learn?
\nThat light traces the pathway of dawn
\nand gives me a path?
\nThat empires rise in the surf
\nof the sea,
\nand make me a citizen.
\nThat truth has no words
\nlarge enough for truth.
\nThat paradigms are bridges
\nbetween the seen and unseen.
\nThat I am more wonderful
\nthan my wonder,
