Where did you come from?
\nStranded poet.
\nWhen did it happen?
\nThat you turned your face to the world
\nand said, repeat after me.
\nThen closed your eyes,
\nand the water that fell from them
\nwere pieces of truth.
\nAs true as any a child can be.
\nOr the man that hides the child.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not sure if you pushed the world away,
\ncrying, let me be myself!
\nOr if the wind of creation
\nblew through your pores enveloping you,
\nand on the other side of yourself
\nwords were scattered here and there
\non stipends of paper.
\nWritten in sand,
\nsaid silently to the grass
\nthat grew up to your eyes.<\/p>\n
And you looked through the blades
\nand said,
\nthat will do,
\nwhatever grows here grows everywhere.
\nAnd everything is an ingot of love,
\nof mercy,
\nof beauty.
\nAnd you died, leaving behind
