If I did a census
\nof the words I use over and over,
\nit would include
\nwords like stars, love, rain, water,
\nelemental things.
\nStars because there are so many
\nto pick from the sky,
\nlove because there was never enough
\nand I long for more,
\nrain because it is my birth water
\nand feels like tears,
\nand water,
\nbecause I am surrounded
\nby its sea, and find harbors in it.<\/p>\n
But there is an exceptional world
\nof names,
\nthat belong to only one universe,
\none pair of eyes,
\none mouth with its smile,
\none heartache that lives in mine.
\nOne story to be told
\nand never repeated.
\nNames in which my own
\nhas found its existence.
\nHave left a shape on me,
\nand created
\na place to begin and end,
\nuntil there are no more words
