\nTo fall in love with flowers

\nwith a solitary trillium planted
\nby my brother, from the woods.<\/p>\n
He did not realize where his intention
\nwould lead.
\nThe gift of trinity
\nthat compelled me to search
\nfor the sacred in nature.
\nThe white star of a lily
\nfrom the shade of the forest.<\/p>\n
A lode star that guided me.
\nNow Jackie, Michael and Mark
\nare brought to a festival
\nof a thousand colors,
\nlike tidewater painted by sunrise
\nand sunset, to remind them
\nof wild flowers, trilliums, and for me,
