If I wrote two poems
\nI shall burn one
\nto watch its smoke
\nfly to the heavens.
\nIf I compose two songs
\nI will lock one in a box
\nthat a child opens
\nto hear music.
\nIf I love my love,
\nI will kiss her twice,
\nand put one in a prayer
\nI said, kissing her.
\nMay love let you live forever.<\/p>\n
If I take a journey
\nto Land\u2019s End,
\nI will look at the sea
\nfrom the top of a bluff,
\nthen walk down to the sand
\nat its feet.
\nAt the top
\nI will take glory
\nhome with me.
\nAt the bottom
\nI will give my secrets
\nto the waves
\nand forget them.<\/p>\n
If I have two dollars left,
\nI will use one
\nto buy a toy.
\nThe other I will give
\nto someone in need.
\nA child,
\nwho will also find
