\nwith a companion brother
\nwho in the beginning
\nbegan with me.
\nSo the world
\npresented itself as quirky,
\nno less miraculous
\nfor being asymmetrical,
\nunreasonable,
\nand imaginal in love,
\nsound and shape.<\/p>\n
For explanation I left
\nits metaphysical houses
\nfor poetry,
\nand decided destiny
\nwas a road
\nwith gentle rain
\nfalling through its shadows,
\nand a voice
\nthat had the pure bell
\nof silence
\nsounding with history,
\nalready deja vu,
\nwaiting for me
\nto walk as far as I please
