Do the dead love the living
\nas much as we love the dead?
\nIs there a shutter we can open
\nto find them?
\nPerhaps we should sing to each other,
\nlullabies to help us sleep

\nPut a flower on the table.
\nI think the dead can read our minds.
\nThey are not strangers.
\nThey are those who made life
\nmean everything to us.<\/p>\n
But we forget and lose track.
\nThen one day they listen to our thoughts
\nand hear nothing.
\nThey have died in us.
\nDo they go to some lonely shore
\nand call to the wind, leaving messages

\nonly coming when we are asleep?
