No one prevents me
\nfrom saying my piece,
\nas long as I don\u2019t speak it,
\nor disturb their dying
\nin the pursuit of their lives.
\nAs long as I\u2019m not seen
\nthey will all agree,
\nthat whoever he was,

But the world greets me
\nwith conversation,
\nand endless voices,

\nSunsets of amethyst and smoke,

\nbetween cliffs wanting to fly.<\/p>\n
A world of porches
\nto sit and greet neighbors,
\nthe moon stopping by
\non a hot summer night,
\nand crowds of stars
\npartying to dawn.
\nI\u2019ll stay silent however,
\nwhere people are concerned,
\nand grow geraniums along the drive.<\/p>\n
And some will say,
\nthere\u2019s a house
\nwith the blood of roses,
\nand who lives inside
\nis a mystery,
\nperhaps someone
\nkeeping to themselves
\nbeing quiet,
