\nWill they satisfy a mysterious hunger

How much do I learn from books?
\nWould anyone notice
\nI\u2019m not current?
\nWill I grow numb inside?
\nOr, will another library
\nopen up its doors?
\nYou never needed me before,

You were blinded by the written word,
\nthough poetry tried to save you.
\nLet you drown,
\nso coming back
\nyour heart would pound,
\nevery breath be sweeter
