Perhaps God listens to my poems.
\nI don\u2019t know.
\nBut then any parent would listen
\nto his child,
\nhear the longing of his child\u2019s voice
\nliving in a place barely known.
\nI never feel Him refuse my words.
\nWalk away from me.<\/p>\n
He leaves shadows, which in
\nsome way I can connect with words.
\nDescribe His life\u2019s desire
\nas my own,
\nas if His faith is taking Him
\nto me,
\nas a parent would, without words
\nreach out,
\nand pull in the one he loves.<\/p>\n
He whispers in a passion
\nthat is the immensity of worlds,
\nwe are poetry,
