{"id":2467,"date":"2016-03-08T01:45:11","date_gmt":"2016-03-08T00:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w7m.3ee.myftpupload.com\/?p=2467"},"modified":"2016-03-03T04:03:09","modified_gmt":"2016-03-03T03:03:09","slug":"threshold-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theodorewaterfield.com\/?p=2467","title":{"rendered":"Threshold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The world flows with its own sound,<br \/>\npast doors that never close,<br \/>\nnever lock.<br \/>\nThis is where I am it says.<br \/>\nI have roads of infinite length,<br \/>\ndark verandas<br \/>\nfrom which you can see<br \/>\na kiss return again and again,<br \/>\nfull and opulent.<br \/>\nFull of poems<br \/>\nlike a woman who returns<br \/>\nfrom the box of her darkness,<br \/>\nbecause of love,<br \/>\nwhose eyes are full of old tears,<br \/>\nsaying, I am nothing.<br \/>\nI changed nothing.<\/p>\n<p>You held me in your arms<br \/>\nin the moment of a lullaby,<br \/>\nand my love never ceases.<br \/>\nIt will always cover you with petals<br \/>\nbecause you refuse to let me die.<br \/>\nSo I never go away.<br \/>\nOld man, with your poems<br \/>\nare you lost in the clouds?<br \/>\nDoes your work get done?<br \/>\nDo you keep your schedules?<br \/>\nAnd honestly, I do not know.<\/p>\n<p>People see my clothes,<br \/>\noffer me food,<br \/>\nbut the place where my heart goes<br \/>\nis open,<br \/>\nfull of empty sea,<br \/>\nand they know somehow I\u2019ve changed,<br \/>\nI am far away.<br \/>\nA hand touches my chest,<br \/>\nlips warm my mouth,<br \/>\nand it is she who stays with me,<br \/>\nloves me.<br \/>\nThe world I was taught to see as stone,<br \/>\nfull of love.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The world flows with its own sound, past doors that never close, never lock.
