\nthe draped windows of
\na black hole’s pavilion,
\nor the particle of the first colossal explosion,
\nor the instant moment of forever,
\nlie these questions.<\/p>\n
What creatures made from nothing can
\ndrape their nothingness with faces,
\nhear their thoughts
\nmade of silence, spoken,
\nand grasp each other
\nwith arms made of little more
\nthan perfect vacuum, then
\nturn into the lightness of a dream
\ncalled love?<\/p>\n
Or pose, without a stupid answer,
\nhow many tons does the rainbow weigh?
\nWho lives inside a mirror?
\nWhen earth falls
\ndoes it weigh a feather?
\nCan you wrinkle space
\nlike you wrinkle paper?
\nAnd what is the atom
\nwe call life,
\nexcept the belief we call nothingness
