\na line of life, prose or poetry.
\nI chose poetry.
\nA poem uncompleted,
\ndemanding line on line
\nsunset to sun dawn.
\nScaling a bluff,
\ngrasping a rope I can\u2019t release.
\nOne hand over the other
\nto the edge above me,
\nwhere the poem will end.<\/p>\n
Maybe where it began,
\nthrown from a fisherman fishing,
\nI took the bait,
\ncrying each time
\nI pulled away.
\nUntil now I can\u2019t let go
\nfrom what has caught me.
\nIf I dared I would die,
\nnot by accident but intention.
\nFalling to where I came
