I woke up listening to

\na Braille that belongs
\nto the space between planets.
\nLike a stone
\nwaiting to be turned over
\nby a gargoyle,
\npoking in the chalk beneath it.
\nI feel the lonely passage of life
\nsuffering in its riddle.<\/p>\n
I had prayed to be heard
\nbefore I slept,
\nand always
\nthe answers come when I have fallen
\nto the other side
\nof my divided universe.
\nI prayed for them,
\nthe ones I love,
\nand asked who will comfort them
