There is more time than

\nTime is eternal.

\nwhy am I always short of time?
\nNever have enough,
\nto do what I have to do.
\nForever is in everything,
\nswallowing up the minutes

And if there is so much time,
\nwhy is my life denied what it needs
\nto perfect itself?
\nTo write every poem inside me,
\nlike seeds ready to be born.
\nTo take care of everything
\nthat needs my care,
\nand a little charity besides.<\/p>\n
And the sheer wastefulness of time,
\nwhen I am too tired to go on,
\nit runs through my fingers
\nlike sand,
\nlike water,
\nmocking my efforts to cup it,
\ngoing on to a sea
\nthat doesn\u2019t need more time.
\nIn frustration I call out,
\nstop!
\nI need more time.
\nLet me finish the love affair

Let me find the meaning
\nof all my sorrows.
\nLet me weave a tapestry
\nfrom the dangling strands of joy,
\nand never have regrets,
