The tarnish of time
\nis yellowing the pages

\nRust is taking the edge
\noff my tools.
\nSalt is corroding the stones
\nleft by the beach,

Yet the sky,

\nis blessed with purity.
\nThe numbers I use
\nare transparently pristine,

So life is breaking
