I will mourn leaving this place.

\nWhen I put on a shirt
\nand wear a suit for the last time.
\nI think of all the well dressed people
\nin Bonaventure Cemetery.
\nThe pretty dresses.
\nMen shaved with collars.<\/p>\n
Why not bury people
\nlike the flowers they are?
\nNaked.
\nAll outside themselves.
\nLike winter when the clouds
\ncome through the trees
\nlike silver falling through the branches.
\nNow the little ones
\nshould have blankets about them,
\nwith flowers and knitted things.
\nBut,
\nmaybe best not to think of that,
\nor that life has to be in one place.<\/p>\n
Why not be born old
\nand grow young like Savannah?
\nWake up and say
\nit\u2019s time I go to school.
\nGo out and play with other kids.
\nLearn things I\u2019ve never learned,
\nand find my mama and papa.
\nGrow young,
\nand one day being born,
\nI look out the window
\nand see the moss,
