The geography around me
\nis a wall, a door, a window.
\nAn illogical life sown into logical seams.
\nEasily ripped apart.
\nA story of sorts.
\nAbsolutes of humanity,
\nimprobabilities of history,
\nmutations of fate,
\nuntil I have what I have,
\nI am what I am,
\non the precipice of a bluff.<\/p>\n
Hugging my knees.
\nI rock to the rhythm of the sea,
\nlife rolled in a ball,
\nlonely, forlorn, empty,
\nand waiting.
\nIs it a question to be answered?
\nA hunger to be fed?
\nA metamorphosis to be completed?
\nA friend who has not arrived?<\/p>\n
Or does existence evaporate,
\na cloud that watches the earth,
\na poem that ends with a period.
\nA jar, that is nothing but a jar,
\nholding earth inside
\nuntil it\u2019s broken.
