\nChildhood on fire.

\nstuffed elephants,
\nand birds should I take,

His mother monitoring

\nThen vision of Mark\u2019s
\nmenagerie on his bed,

\nAnd on the sideline
\nI see a grin on Mark\u2019s face.
\nHe stuffs three animals
\nin his bag, a compromise,

So Mark prepares,

\nstory books and Lego man,
\ncandy and a game,
\ncrayons and last things
\nfor his pocket,
\nso quickly done,
\neveryone eager to embark.<\/p>\n
Then the windows cracked,
\nthe family in the car,
\nI hold up my hand and
\ninvisibly take their own.
\nAnd call out,
\nthe one thing of my heart,
\nI love you all!
