\nThere it is.

\nAnother.
\nAll there is.
\nLife pulls me on.
\nTime is scarce,
\nno bigger than eternity,
\nso I must be going.
\nNothing to waste.
\nA poem measured by five minutes.
\nFor breathing, another two.<\/p>\n
And for love,
\noh, if I could only hold that note,
\nsix minutes,
\nmaybe seven,
\nand that\u2019s all there is.
\nLife flying in me,
\nspeeding out ahead.
\nA pause for coffee,
\nfor looking, looking at girls,
\nall the time left in my pockets for children,
\nwho above all else are timeless.
\nSo my life is measured.
\nSo death must be patient.<\/p>\n
Seasons come and leave.
\nLilacs in spring.
\nThe deep smell of lilacs.
\nAround my cheeks,
\nin my eyes
\nbefore they go.
\nAnd autumn,
\nI\u2019ll stand frozen,
\nlike a statue,
\nwatching a golden gale
\nof leaves come down.<\/p>\n
And winter,
\nthe first snow,
\nmy heart bursting.
\nNothing more beautiful
\nthan snowflakes falling.
\nAnd spring,
\nlife opening,
\nand in some sad way closing.
\nSo there it is.<\/p>\n
To say,
\nhow I lived?
\nQuickly,
\nslowly,
\ncarefully,
\nfrugally,
\nfrozen,
\nsleeping when I can,
\nand the best of all of it,
\nas much as I can hold,
\nuntil the end.
\nWhen a cliff looking into glory
\ninvites me over,
\ninto shoals,
\nwhere the sea comes with its hands,
