I wish Savannah had a

\nwhat with all that\u2019s gone on
\nbetween people here.
\nSongs and poems that somehow
\nreach into the heart.
\nNot just the well known
\nboys and girls that everybody knows,
\nbut what\u2019s in the attics of houses,
\nbetween the pages of books
\nnear a closet or hidden under a bed.<\/p>\n
Letters that say something with words
\nthat lips never felt,
\nbut wanted to,
\nkisses blown at someone.
\nPut on a window when the dew is heavy.
\nLove that reaches for inside
\nand leaves moons in the eyes.
\nNone of it meant to be a public thing,
\nbut a luster inside people.
\nNot a shine, but a glow.
\nSomething soft inside a heart in love.
\nAnd it seems to be a kind of thing
\nthat stays.
\nYou can see a lot of it in faces here.
\nI\u2019ve been to places where I saw
\nnothing but fear and worry,
\nbeing late, ears gone deaf with noise.<\/p>\n
But here in Savannah,
\nwhere you can hear birds
\nand people whispering,
\nthere\u2019s time for something wonderful.
\nTime for people to see each other,
\nfall in love.
\nCry and laugh at the same time.
\nNothing made up.
\nNothing for sale.<\/p>\n
Just a passion for somebody
\nthat hurts like. . .pardon me. . .hell,
\nand makes you glad you were born,
\nand want to die,
\nfrom the sheer joy of finding someone
\nso beautiful,
\nso unique,
\nthe only place it could happen
\nwould be here,
\non a street called,
\nTrue Love Street,
