There is a forest there

\na marsh in that subdivision.
\nThe electric tower
\nstands on a slope
\nwhere a boy and girl
\nloved among the willows.
\nThe last panther screams
\nin my garden,
\nnot understanding his broken heart,
\nand Indians roast a deer
\non the golf course.<\/p>\n
I watch the face of an angel
\npack my groceries,
\nshowing his grandmother
\ncolored stones with his wrinkled hands.
\nI see a boat race
\nwhere a power plant drowned
\na lake.
\nLast night when I went to sleep,
\nmy dead family lined up in a row,
\nto make it easier to kiss them,
