Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

Peace and Quiet

Peace within the quiet
of a peace.
Life commemorated by a stone.
Address of a silent house
shutters closed.
How much aloneness do I need?
Rain,
that carries dark
into a room?
Peace and quiet.
But how much?
With whom?
You were away,
and left chaos in my heart.
