How sublime and sweet human souls are.
At peace in their genesis,
until they collide with heat and cold,
hunger and thirst,
love and forbearing,
then they succumb
to the unsubstantial laws
of their romantic hearts
and stories.
Inconclusive destinies.
Remains of countries
that should have lived forever,
an absence left in the
emptiness they created.
