I have only five minutes
to repair my heart.
To circle the universe
and come back.
To say hello and farewell
to anyone who lived.
To learn in five minutes
what I never knew,
and be all the imaginal things
I ever wanted to be.
To see what happens
in the extraordinary reaches
of the soul
and watch love
grow up from seed.
To understand how dreams
are just as real as real,
and timeless happens
after time,
and time happens
after timeless,
depending on what came first,
and which clock I use.
