April, April, April,
I love you so much!
With snow on the ground.
Forsythia covered with a cloud.
Darkness lifting from my heart!
I see buds
thrown like lace
into the trees.
Lovers looking for lovers.
Doors thrown aside.
Rain like tinsel in the air.
The last cough of winter
clearing from my throat.
Happiness,
like a sandy shore of shells,
finding treasure,
a kite sailing in the air,
with a shout of joy!
April in the Snow
