He keeps one eye hidden,
the other
peeks around the door,
Mark is the Cheshire cat,
for big people to adore.
One-eyed phantom,
mock heroic sprite,
here I am,
here I’m not,
whimsical in the light!
Don’t you wish
you were me,
could hide behind the door,
to choose to be
or not to be,
a scary cat
at four?
Boo!
You’re it, Papa!
