Here you will find the writings of the poet Theodore Waterfield

Why is nothing never enough?
Why do I need a ton of light,
a cup of darkness?
Why must the air be scented,
the bread have salt?
It is not an issue,
it is a question,
the end of a rope,
the ball,
bouncing back from a cave.

Why do I want an answer?
To be still,
while the world goes on?
Is the ocean big enough for my eyes?
The sky far enough for my hands?
Is the truth
large enough for my heart?
Can love last long enough for a life?
I don’t know.
Does the truth last forever?
