How ludicrous to mourn
the passing of a world.
The most beautiful fire of all
is the dying of a star.
They fall on us
sunset to dawn.
The atoms of a shooting star
outnumber
the stars in the Milky Way.
One small God,
shines brighter
than all the stars in heaven.
The ring
is bigger than the bell.
The song of one small life
louder than the silence
of one huge death.
