Do not blame me for dieing.
Death is not a crime,
and life is not a crime scene.
That I aged is inconvenient.
That my success rests
on a mountain of small failures.
That my intelligence
was never up to my understanding,
so I could never quite explain myself.
I took my place in line
unsure of where I was
or where I was going.
Shared as much as I could with others.
I truly wanted to give
more than I got,
and wound up
hopelessly loving,
hopelessly caring,
and believing
the only things that exist are miracles.
